Kit Building Takes No Time At All

It took less than an hour to build this chair using a battery operated screw gun for the screws and an adjustable wrench to tighten the nuts.  The time also included stopping to take pictures as I built it.  It took me longer to download the images from my camera and string them together to create the images below.

The kit includes the pre-cut fine grain wood pieces with perhaps an occasional small knot for beauty.  All the wood was pre-sanded and did not require any sanding once the chair was finished.  The rust resistant Zinc plated hardware has stood up very well even in the very salty air of the Atlantic Seacoast area of Seabrook, NH.  See the weathering and finishing information link contained in the "More Information" list.

The pre-assembled (knocked-down) version of this chair comes with the seat and the back pre-assembled.  The extra costs for pre-assembly and shipping will more than likely cut the time for assembly to 1/3 or less. Directions for assembly are greatly simplified. (Note:  Not all items are available in pre-assembled knocked-down form.  Some size limitations do not allow for pre-assembly.)
